Alhamdulillah, akhirnya bisa juga perform di Losari Beach Inn Resto 31 Desember 2012. Padahal kondisi tulang selangka kanan dan salah satu rusuk belakang patah akibat jatuh dari motor seminggu sebelumnya. Syukurlah, Allah swt masih memberiku kesempatan main sambil menahan rasa “nyut-nyut” di bahu. Dan Country Night pun sukses digelar.

Piano Itu Alat Musik Pukul (Perkusi)?

Banyak orang yang mengira piano adalah alat musik pencet layaknya keyboard. Padahal kalau ditelaah lebih jauh, sebenarnya piano tergolong dalam jenis alat musik pukul atau perkusi. Mengapa demikian?

Sebenarnya penggolongan alat musik yang ada dan pernah ada di dunia ini dibagi dalam dua kategori. Keduanya adalah penggolongan berdasarkan sumber bunyinya dan penggolongan berdasarkan cara memainkan atau memproduksi bunyi tersebut.

Untuk yang pertama, penggolongan berdasarkan sumber bunyi dibagi atas:

1. Membranofon: adalah kumpulan alat musik yang sumber bunyinya berasal dari membran atau selaput kulit yang diregangkan dan dipasang pada sebuah kotak atau tabung. Misalnya : tambur, genderang, rebana, tifa, drum, conga, bongo dan lain sebagainya.
2. Aerofon: adalah alat musik yang sumber bunyinya berasal dari getaran udara yang diatur oleh lubang-lubang atau lidah yang ada pada alat musik tersebut. Misalnya : seruling bambu, serunai, recorder, saxophone, flute, terompet dan lain sebagainya.
3. Ideofon.: adalah alat musik yang sumber bunyinya berasal dari getaran alat musik itu sendiri. Contoh : gong, angklung, gambang, kolintang, castanyet, triangel, xylophone, bellira, cymbal dan lain sebagainya.
4. Kordofon: adalah alat musik yang sumber bunyinya berasal dari dawai/tali/senar/corda yang bergetar karena dipetik, digesek atau dipukul. Contoh : rebab, kecapi, siter, gitar, biola, mandolin dan lain sebagainya.
5. Elektrofon: adalah alat musik yang sumber bunyinya berasal dari aliran arus listrik. Contoh : gitar listrik, drum listrik, piano listrik, keyboard, elektone dan lain sebagainya.

Dari penggolongan berdasarkan sumber bunyi ini sudah bisa dipastikan piano adalah jenis Kordofon. Karena sumber bunyi piano adalah dawai atau senar yang berjejer rapi di dalam tubuhnya.
